Community
Built by practitioners.
For people doing the work.
The Quanza community is a space for technology practitioners, educators, and builders working to raise the standard of digital capability across Africa and beyond. We share knowledge, surface what is actually working, and connect people who are solving the same problems in different places.
Why this community exists
The same problems appear repeatedly across the organisations we work with. A government ministry struggling with a failed software procurement. A university that cannot get its LMS adopted by faculty. An NGO whose staff cannot recognise a phishing attempt. An IT team that lacks the framework to explain risk to leadership.
These are not isolated failures. They are patterns. And the people navigating them often cannot find peers who have faced the same challenge, much less solved it.
This community exists to change that. To create a place where the people doing serious digital work in serious organisations can find each other, share what they have learned, and avoid repeating each other's mistakes.
Membership is free. The only requirement is that you are working on something real.
Members working across government, higher education, and NGOs in multiple countries
Sectors represented: government, higher education, NGOs, healthcare, corporate, and vocational training
No membership fee. No upsell. Community access is open to everyone doing the work.
What We Focus On
Three things the community is built around.
Practitioner Knowledge
Frameworks, templates, case studies, and hard-won lessons from people actively managing technology in complex organisations. Not theory. Not vendor content. Actual working knowledge.
Peer Connection
A network of people working on similar problems across different organisations and geographies. The ability to find someone who has done what you are trying to do, and is willing to talk about it.
Capability Building
Access to Quanza's training resources, session recordings, reading guides, and practical tools. Material designed to raise the baseline of digital and technical competence across the organisations we serve.
How We Connect
